Real Madrid and Levante played a six-goal game that saw Gareth Bale's first La Liga goal from 2019 and the outside player ended up on the poles.

Bale scored with the passing of Karim Benzema but Roger Marti equalized 28 seconds after a restart.

Jose Campana voted Levante forward but Vinicius Jr rallied.

Rober Pier restored the lead to lead but Vinicius made it 3-3 with a clever finish before Levante goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez was sent off.

He ran 20 yards out of his box and managed to stop Rodrygo passing him, defender Ruben Vezo had to score in the last few minutes.

Luckily for Levante, Real never forced him to save money.

When Bale shut down Real's opening game for the first time, it looked like that would be the story of the game.

Back in the picture under Carlo Ancelotti, it was the first goal of Welsh legends La Liga since September 2019 and his first for Real in any competition since January 2020.

During the break with Real 1-0 up and looking for control, it seems the only question is how much they will win.

Less than 30 seconds after the re-start, the Valencia hosts equalized with their first shot when Marti blocked Gonzalo Melero's shot.

They then led the thrilling Campana volley to the top corner from Jorge de Frutos' cross.

In this episode Real dropped Bale in a triple episode that saw Vinicius come - and the Brazilian ended up rescuing Real.

First he ran to Casemiro with the ball before calming down and setting up his home.

Levante also took the lead at the end of Pier's career after David Alaba deflected a free kick on his way.

But Vinicius' cut off the inside of the post saved a point for Real.

Fernandez's red card came at a bad time for Levante, one minute after the final goal, but luckily for them Real did not take advantage of Vezi's gloves with six minutes of injury.
