The Zurich Association innovated in 1336 with a class list comprising members of the Swiss elite considering whether to accept women.
Zunft zur Meisen, headquartered in the Baroque megacity center in the Swiss banking center, may decide at its periodic general meeting to allow women to attend their events as guests, according to a report by the Neue Zuercher Zeitung.
The working group of the megacity’s largest association is exploring the option to allow women to come members at a after date, reports NZZ. Like its peers, Zunft zur Meisen doesn't publish a class list, and its website doesn't say who should join.
While 26 Zurich associations have lost their original purpose of representing retailers, they're still known for their specialized dispatches. Every spring they organize a fire-retardant exhibition on the megacity lake.
The ban on women meant that numerous of their loved bones were barred, Konstantin von Schulthess- representing Meisen and principal fiscal officer of cancer exploration establishment CDR-LifeInc.- told NZZ. Guildsmen will have January to submit their responses until January.
Zunft zur Meisen declined to note on the NZZ report when communicated by Bloomberg on Thursday.
When it comes to the part of women in public life, Switzerland has always lagged behind its European neighbors. At public position, women didn't have the right to bounce until 1971 when the first womanish member of the standing council was suspended in 2015 only.

The rejection of women from associations is controversial among swiss financial institutions. An composition in the Tages-Anzeiger review on Thursday said manly-only law was out of date.
"It looks strange when manly columns take to the thoroughfares of a 21st century megacity and women throw flowers at them,"he said."By averring on continuing without women, associations are moving down from social reality."
