Cristiano Ronaldo broke the world record with goals scored in men's soccer worldwide as he scored his 110 goals and 111 goals in Portugal's victory over the Republic of Ireland.
The 36-year-old scored two late goals - breaking and stretching the record - after a penalty saved by Gavin Bazunu.
Ali Daei, who scored 109 goals for Iran between 1993 and 2006, held the record that Ronaldo compared to beating France twice at Euro 2020.
The Manchester United striker has also matched Europe's Sergio Ramos' record of a men's beating - and his 180th appearance in Portugal.
