Harry Kane has announced he will stay at Tottenham this summer after moving to Manchester City.
Kane, who has three years left on his Spurs contract, had asked to leave the club this summer in exchange for silverware, but appears to have eased his position after a lengthy summer negotiations between City and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Writing on Twitter, Kane said: "It was amazing to see the reception of Spurs fans on Sunday and read some of the support messages I had a few weeks ago.
"I'm going to stay in Tottenham this summer and I'll be 100 percent focused on helping the team achieve success."
Tottenham have agreed to sign Metz's Pape Matar Sarr
Kane, who was targeted by City all summer, came off the bench in Saturday's 1-0 win over Wolves in the Premier League in his first appearance since returning late for the season.
The England captain, however, is adamant that he has been scheduled to return later than his teammates after Euro 2020.
Spurs offered Kane more than $ 120m, but were determined to keep the striker despite believing he had a contract with Levy to leave the club this summer.
City made a £ 100m offer to Kane in early June, but were unable to come close to an agreement with Spurs.
